Rosso di Montalcino Campone DOC
Campone Rosso is sourced from the youngest vineyards at Castelgiocondo. Marchesi de' Frescobaldi's wine estate in Montalcino, which yeld harmonious wines, enjoyable in their youth. As a Rosso di Montalcino, Campone is a full-bodied, easy-drinking red. It offers fragrances of dark cherry and blackberry, plus attractive nuances developed by ageing. A generous, full-flavoured wine, Campone will be enjoyable with a very wide range of dishes, such as charcuterie and sausages, and type of hearty soup, and grilled or barbecued poultry and veal.
