Origin: Santa Venerina (Sicily)

Ingredients: orange peel 49% , glucose-fructose syrup, sucrose, acidity regulator: citric acid E330, preservative: potassium sorbate E202, E220 sulfur anidryde (residual), chocolate coating. May contain traces of dried fruit shells, peanuts, milk, sesame, eggs. Store in a cool , dry place.

Les écorces d’orange sont entières, ce qui est bien, parce que souvent elles sont reconstituées pour faciliter le conditionnement, mais elle sont légèrement sèches, car pas assez confites. Il est probable que seule la face orange a été plongée dans le sirop. Du coup, c’est un peu décevant, d’autant que le chocolat n’en couvre qu’une partie. Ca manque de moelleux et un peu de finesse. Je préfère personnellement les orangettes de quelques bons très chocolatiers de par chez nous, pour autant que le zeste d’orange confit soit entier et non reconstitué. Un truc : le zeste doit suinter légèrement, même au travers du chocolat.
