Colomba cake & candied orange peels
Origin : Emilia Romagna
Ingredients : Wheat flour, candied orange peels 22%, butter, sugar, egg yolk, natural mother yeast, emulsifier : mono and diglycerids of cids, sunflower lecithin, invert sugar syrup, salt, wheat malt, vanilla extract from Madagascar berries, natural flavours. Icing ingredients 10% : sugar, almonds 13%, egg white, hazenuts, bitter almonds, rice flour. It may contain traces of soya and of in-shell nuts different from indicated in the label. It does not contain OGM.

For almost a century, traditionally, the dove has been closing Easter lunch because, since ancient times, this graceful bird has been a symbolic value of peace, rebirth and love. From these legends was born a sweet and soft cake in the shape of a dove, enriched by the taste of candied orange and this delicious and crunchy frosting of almonds. Among them, a special place is occupied by the traditional dove that does not include the addition of raisins but only and exclusively the presence of delicious pieces of Navel orange, Sibari, produced naturally without the use of dioxide of sulfur

Pas mal du tout, mais une petite préférence pour la colombe traditionnelle sicilienne... et pour celle des TRE MARIE.
