These General Conditions of Sale govern the business relationship between Italia Delizie and each of its customers.
The customer confirms that, before placing the order, he has read and accepted the whole of the information constituting these General Conditions of Sale.
The characteristics of the products offered by Italia Delizie can be modified without notice by our suppliers. Italia Delizie cannot be held reponsible for the use or with the contents of the ordered products. The products offered by Italia Delizie meet current French legislation but Italia Delizie cannot be held responsible for any non conformity with the legislation of the countries where the products are delivered. All the marks quoted by Italia Delizie are trade mark of their respective owners.
Prices are invoiced in Euro on the basis of the price list in force at the date and time of your order, and are subject to any modification in the rate of French VAT. Our prices are valid within the limit of our available stocks. The prices indicated by Italia Delizie for each product are in Euro.
Conditions for delivery to French Departments and Territories Overseas
Any order involving a delivery to French Departments and Territories Overseas is exempt from French VAT (Corsica is treated as mainland France). This exemption relates both to the selling prices of the products and the cost of transport and therefore the invoice will be presented free of VAT.
However on arrival of the parcel the customer will be responsible for clearing his goods by discharging the necessary obligations and taxes appropriate to the Department or Territory.
The products which you order from Italia Delizie have French VAT included at the current rate of 19,6% (or 5,5% according to the product category).
You benefit from the absence of VAT on our products and our transport services. The invoice will be established excluding French VAT. However you will have to discharge the necessary obligations and taxes within the country of entry and also you must ensure that the products thus ordered are authorized for importation into your country.
This site enables you to pay for your order directly on-line, by means of the following bank cards: MASTERCARD, EUROCARD, CB VISA, CB BLUE and by inserting the 16 numbers on your card, and its date of expiry.
Your information is encrypted and thus circulates in full safety thanks to SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol. Only those cards with the initials CB, VISA, EUROCARD or MASTERCARD issued in France or within the framework of international networks approved by the GIE Bank Cards, are accepted.
The order placed by the customer on the internet site will only become valid when the central network of Bank Cards gives its consent. In case of their refusal, Italia Delizie reserves the right to not accept the order, to cancel it and to stop the despatch of the package.
No sum will be debited to you before the despatch of your order.
The information from your bank card is only kept during the treatment of your order. Your account is debited with the total cost of your products and transport charges on the day of despatch of the goods.
Whichever is the chosen method of payment, only the confirmed receipt of payment will trigger the despatch of the goods. The goods will therefore be sent on receiving your confirmed payment.

Please note that in this case it is essential to provide us, in addition to the order, the following details : your full name, your address, delivery address, phone numbers and e-mail address.
Your cheque must be made payable to FMD ITALIA in Euro (€). Your cheque, for the total sum of the goods and transport charges, will be cashed only on the day of the despatch of the goods.
To pay by bank transfer, you only have to choose « transfer » on your order form; then you have to make the transfer within 7 days, accompanied absolutely by your order number to allow us to identify it. The goods will be despatched upon receipt of your payment.
Italia Delizie uses the COLISSIMO delivery service of the French Priority Post Office, acknowledged for their quality of performance and their speed.
You can opt for your order to be delivered to your address or the address of your choice. Italia Delizie can deliver its products to most countries of the World.
Italia Delizie uses the most assured mode of delivery: namely signed-for deliveries.
For mainland France, Corsica and Monaco, delivery takes place within 48 hours(understood to be 2 working days). Your package is delivered in person and you sign for the delivery. In case of absence, your mailman will leave you a calling card and you then have 15 days to obtain the package.When the time expires, the package will automatically be returned to Italia Delizie.
For French Departments and Territories Overseas and International delivery times are typically between 4 and 8 days from date of despatch.
After the despatch of your order, an e-mail will be sent to you, containing the monitoring number of your package. You will then be able to know where it is at any time by linking to http://www.laposte.fr/colissimo.
For French Departments and Territories Overseas : the monitoring of the package begins when it is deposited at the Post Office and continues until delivery for French Departments Overseas and Mayotte, and until it leaves mainland France for French Territories Overseas, St Pierre et Miquelon and Army postal areas.
For the International deliveries : the monitoring of the package begins when it is deposited at the Post Office and continues until delivery for the following countries:
- The European Union (except Estonia, Lithuania, Malta)
- Iceland, Norway, Switzerland, Turkey
- Israel, Morocco
- Canada, Usa
- Australia, South Korea, Japan.
For all other countries, the monitoring of the package begins when it is deposited at the Post Office and continues until it leaves mainland France.
Any import taxes, charges or duties are the responsibility of the addressee in countries outside of the European Union and in French overseas Departments and Territories. The goods travel carriage paid. In a situation where the package has deteriorated seems to you to be so, you must refuse the delivery and demand to the deliverer that the package be returned to us. In this situation you must contact us by e-mail and will be able to opt for resending of your order without delay, or for reimbursement. No return will be accepted after the signature of the addressee for receipt of the package, such signature being taken as specific acceptance of the delivery. Italia Delizie cannot be held responsible for degradations or losses as stated above. Italia Delizie alwas communicates the amount of the carriage costs for each order, the amount varying depending upon the destination, the number of packages and the weight.
In the event that the package is returned to Italia Delizie because the carrier has been unable to deliver it ( for example incorrect or incomplete adress, or adressee not known at the given adress) or for other reasons which are the responsibility of the purchaser, then Italia Delizie will require the full pamentnof the actual costs, of reshipping the goods so that the aforementionned package can be sent again (this is because our initial transport charges are subdivised by Italia Delizie, but only for the first delivery attempt). In the event that the purchaser decides not to have the package sent for a second time, the original order will be cancelled, and Italia Delizie will reimburse the purchaser after deducting the actual expenses linked to the first delivery.
In accordance with the Article L 121-20 of the french Code of Consumption, the customer has the right of refusal within 14 days from the date of receipt, b him, of the ordered products.
If the customer has not received written confirmation of the order, this right of refusal is extended to a period of 3 months. If the customer exercises this right, Italia Delizie promises to reimburse him his out-of-pocket expenses, without Italia Delizie making any charges, within a period of 14 days.
The customer can also choose to exchange the products.
In case of retraction, the customer must return the goods in their original packaging, with the costs of return, initial paid for the customer.
Italia Delizie treats all information concerning you with strict confidentiality and full discretion. In accordance with the Computer Law and Freedom of January 6th 1978, you have a right of access and correction of any personal data concerning you (Italia Delizie does not pass on your details to any other companies or suppliers).
Italia Delizie cannot be held responsible for the nonperformance of our order in case of « force majeure », including, but not limited to natural disasters, war, strikes, floods, fire, etc...
In the event of potential litigation, it is essential that the parties involve themselves to seek an amicable solution before an legal action is taken.
Products remain the property of Italia Delizie up to the time of full and complete payment of the invoiced price. Italia Delizie reserves the right to refuse, to accept and to cancel any order from any customer with whom there is or may be litigation relating to the payment or dispute regarding a previous order.
